Rachel Hunter’s beauty tips and skincare regime

Though Rachel Hunter is an international supermodel known for her beauty, her skincare routine is surprisingly simple – much like her approach to living a happy, healthy lifestyle.

We love her life ethos, which meant partnering with her to promote our products was a no-brainer. We were able to sit down with Rachel to talk about her simple skincare regime using our Certified Organic Hydrating Rosehip Oil, some key beauty tips and also advice for boosting confidence.

What’s your morning skincare routine like?

“My morning skincare routine starts with a refreshing toner spray, followed by essano Rosehip Oil. I let it soak in a bit and then I put on a touch of foundation and mascara. I have a very basic routine, I like to keep it as natural as possible. I've found this works for me, however I know skin can be hard at different stages of life and things can change as you get older.

I’ll often reapply the toner throughout the day, especially here with the LA heat, and in the evenings I remove my make-up with Rosehip Oil before using it on my entire face and sometimes my body as well. I have tried and continue to try many things on my skin over the years – it’s part of understanding and knowing what is good for your skin.”

What’s your one top beauty tip?

“Find what makes you happy and smile and laugh. When someone is smiling it fills the room and you will look beautiful. I know what that may sound like, given my career, but I really love that we are now seeing so many different types of beauty, the inner depths of beauty, and I hope this expression continues.”

What’s your number 1 confidence-boosting secret?

“Breathe, ground yourself, and follow your intuition. Also good hair and eyebrows.”

What’s your best tip for being photographed?

“I was told to stick your chin out and down to give definition to your jaw line.”

What did your mum teach you about beauty and grooming?

Mum would sometimes make things at home, like lotions and potions straight from the garden. She was very fashionable, with a blonde beehive and eyeliner and mascara, but had a naturopathic way about her. She was always a big fan of natural oils.

What beauty advice have you passed on to your daughter?

We share products, but I let her find her own way and what is right for her. The number one piece of advice I would pass on to her is that natural is almost always better in every aspect.
