Exper+ise Detox + Exfoliate Balancing Shampoo

I’ve been using this product for two weeks in conjunction with the Pre Rinse treatment, Coco Scalp and your hydrating conditioner as I had particularly stubborn scurf on my scalp but have very very fine hair with low porosity. Have also had hair loss because of my condition. Whilst the shampoo is drying on my hair, between using that and the Coco Scalp all scalp itch has gone. I’m used to using drying shampoos having had SB for several years. So much so that I now wet my hair and plaster the lengths in conditioner BEFORE I wash my scalp. That is the only process that works for me. That and frequent washing. I switched to Essano because I’m tired of using highly chemical products on my scalp inclusive of tar based ones which stink. Only used Coco Scalp this week to try to aid in clearing my scalp to give the product more chance to work. It has been drying in my hair but I think it’s a consequence of extremely fine hair which has virtually no core and very tight cuticles. Very easy to damage. Being 60 yo and lacking estrogen doesn’t help I guess. Hoping to get my scalp in a better place so my hair growth will be healthier. Would be nice to see a silicon free silicon shine serum with this range given most people with fine hair struggle with dry ends and oily roots.

Absolutely feels like you’re washing your hair with dish detergent. So so drying. Whatever is used in place of sulfates, is quite possibly worse. My hair has never felt so dry and frizzy like hay. Just from using it once. Unfortunately the risks outweigh the possible anti dandruff benefits. Even head and shoulders isn’t as drying. Have absolutely wasted my money. Will be throwing it out.
